Caring for your Jewelry

Desired Finish: All jewelry can be cared for and polished using a silver polishing cloth, silver polishing paste or dipping products.

If you wish to maintain the dark patina, which shows in recessed textures of the piece, it is recommended to use the polishing cloth and just highlight the surfaces.

If a Matte finish is desired, you can use 800/ 1000 grit sandpaper to polish the piece. Try first on the inside of the piece to see the effect.

After polishing, rinse and dry with a soft cloth or towel.

Proper handling: severe bending can distress metal and cause it to become brittle, so with flexible items, make sure to take care when adjusting and don’t exaggerate.

Earrings: If you have bent your earring wire, find a pen or dowel of the desired shape, and reshape the wire around the object and smooth out the kinks with your fingers or blunt end of a piece of cutlery. We recommend using rubber stoppers on the end of earring wires to prevent losing them.

RIngs: Rings can be resized upon request. Some rings are forged with a hammered finish on the ring shank, Please ask what options are available.

Reaction to metals: If any irritation occurs due to allergy or skin sensitivity to metal, coat the surfaces that come in contact with your skin with a clear lacquer or clear nail polish.
